William walked out into the grounds. He had brought Tilly, his owl and his trusty broom. He wondered what events would be going on in the tournament. He thought he may need to practice flying. He was flying and he could see a figure walking out of the school.

William watched as the figure moved closer. At that point, Tilly swooped up and tried to knock William of his broom. "Tilly! Stop it!" Tilly quickly backed away to a tree where he ate some worms.

Scarlett sat in the center of the unoccupied field in a gloomy kind of mood. Even the sunshine didn't brighten her spirits. Her mind was troubled and foggy and just full of questions without answers and fear of what the answers might be. Scarlett was looking at a spot in the grass without looking at it. She was running her fingers absentmindedly through the grass, and gradually the sun became covered by light grey clouds as the weather began to reflect her mood.

William saw Scarlett laying in the grass. He flew down to the ground and his owl went mad! He swooped up at William's face and held onto it. William was waving his hand about to get Tilly off! He crashed into the ground and gave Scarlett a shock. "Hi! Sorry about that."

"I'm fine! Tilly, I think he is ok. Something must have scared him." William looked into the distance. He could see something hurling towards them. "Um... Scarlett, I would move out of the way if I were you! Look! That's probably what scared Tilly!" William tried to identify what the creature was. It was a big bird. Far to big to be an owl.

Scarlett heard William's warning, she raised her eyes to him. The normal bright and happy green-delight that flashed through her eyes was color a pale blue clouded and filled with confusion. She then glanced before her and looked away, focusing on a different spot on the grass. "It's nothing, really. Its thoughts are calming," she added.

William looked on in shock. It just disappeared in front of his very eyes. "Ok. That was weird." He looked at Tilly who was looking for more worms. Tilly didn't seem confused.

Scarlett looked up through her lashes, before looking down at the grass. "So... why, were you...flying?" she wondered out quietly as she met his gaze. Something about her mood was off, but she wasn't sure if William would be able to sense it.

"I was practicing from the triwizard tournament. Also, are you ok? I mean, you look like your lost in your thoughts." William wondered what Scarlett was thinking about. "Are you worried?"

Scarlett looked down at the ground and rubbed her finger tips against the ground. "I'm fine," she lied, giving off a fade smile, "Just.. thinking," she added. "William. Don't you feel like you not only placed yourself in danger, but the others that care for you," she blurted out of pure curiosity.

Scarlett laughed, "Yeah, because you got me to go up against," she replied, growling playfully. "But it's okay, I don't bite," she commented, looking down at the grass with a smile. Sometime, she sent him the thought before meeting his gaze with raised eyebrow.

William laughed. "I do, don't I! The teams this year are very competitive." He wondered what his owl, Tilly was doing as he was behind a tree. He came out with a stick and it was like he wanted to use it as a broom to play quidditch!

Scarlett then turned her attention to William, "But can't he fly already?" she wondered, reading William's quidditch thoughts.

"He's my barn owl, Tilly. He can't fly. I didn't get him from the pet emporium, he was a stray so I adopted him. He eats wild things like worms, spider. things like that." Tilly enjoyed the attention Scarlett was giving him.

Scarlett sighed, "Aww.. that's so sad," she replied, turning her head to William. "You rescued a stray off the street? That's so sweet," she commented, her eyes flashing a slight pink. "I brought Rosemary from the Pet Emporium," she added, letting Nilly step on her index finger.

"Thanks. Who's Rosemary? Your owl?" William watched as Tilly relaxed on Scarlett's finger. "He needs lots of training, he gets scared easily and needs toilet training."

Scarlett's eyes soften for she loved telling people about Rosemary just like, William liked to talk about Tilly. "Rosemary is a blue-eyed weasel with soft grey fur," she replied, love glistening in her eyes. "She's like my best friend and a great advice-giver," she added, listening to Tilly's troubles. "If you would like I could help you with that?" she smiled sheepishly.
