"William shouted down to Angel and Katie from the clouds. "Angel! Katie! Come up here! I'm gonna race you!" He said with a smug look on his face.

Always ready for a challenge, Katie jumped on her broom as soon as the words had left William's mouth. Before she knew it, she was up as high as he was and soon higher. With the wind whipping her hair to the side, she flew past him into the clouds.

Angel nodded along to Katie's word," I'm sure safety isn't a problem. I don't think anyone's going to go around shooting random hexes at people," The Gryffindor girl glanced around to see everyone getting along well," We love each other so I don't think we'll try and kill the competition," Angel glanced up at the sky, in search of Will," I'll be up there in a few," ANgel said still feeling the stiffness in her legs and the grogginess that invaded her mind. I knew I should have gotten a bit more sleep she though smiling up at Katie and Will.

William watched as Katie zoomed up and nearly knocked William off his broom. She was so fast. He managed to cling on. "I'll see you up there Angel!" He shouted. He flew up wondering why Angel thought she should have slept more last night. He thought at least this would be one of her weakness's.

Scarlett stood next to Angel shyly as her body shifted to a defensive positive. "Hey, um, Angel?" she asked, poking Angel on the shoulder, "I think I'm going to, um, hang back and go to my dorm room or something," she commented, looking up at Katie and William. "See ya, Ange!" she waved, walking away, a pale blue flashed around her iris.

"Coming slow-poke?" Katie called down to William who was now some feet beneath her. She saw Angel was still on the ground and hoped she was feeling alright. A gust of wind interupted her thoughts as it sent her hair over her eyes. Shaking it out of her face, realizing how much of a mess she must look like, she waited for William to fly up.

William saw Scarlett down on the ground. "Why don't you join us Scarlett! We are racing!" He said. He wasn't sure if she could hear him. "If not, I will see you around the halls!" Willia then heard Katie and quickly flew up and straight past her, he kept going.

Katie trailed William on her broom trying hard to pass him up but he was going very fast.

Angel glanced at Scarlett, concern flashing through her eyes," Wait up chica," Angel called breaking out into a slow run, softly grabbing her friend by the arm," Is something bothering you," Angel asked, noticing tears brewing in Rose's chocolate brown eyes.

William suddenly stopped whilst Katie flew past him. "Wait up, Katie! I think Scarlett's crying." He quickly floated down and very annoyingly landed in some brown stuff. When he got up and saw what it was, he quickly cleaned himself up as he had landed in dragon poo. He finally got over to the two girls.

Scarlett glanced at the two of them, "It's nothing," she replied, looking away. She was very much hoping to not draw any attention to herself. But now, she was probably going to go down on everybody's list as a cry baby and a weakling.

"No, you should tell us, Scarlett!" Valerie called out.  "We're your friends and your feelings are important to us."

Professor Blackwell internally sighed and decided to help Miss Rose. So, he started walking up to and next to her, "So, Miss Rose. I have heard of an interesting thing that can happen in this school if you follow the right steps. Care to hear it?" he asked, warmly.

William watched as the professor followed Scarlett. He wondered what was wrong. "Maybe she felt left out." He said. William wanted to watch what she was doing and where she was going. Luckily for him, he knew lots of windows in the school but it wouldn't be easy to do it without her seeing.

More like she realised what she was up against, Valerie thought.

"Shouldn't the rest of us get back to training?" she asked.

"Hm, suppose." Alex hopped back onto his room. "Sure you don't want to join us Scarlett?" He shouted. He then flew high into the deep blue sky, awaiting his class mates.

It didn't take Katie long to realize there was some sort of drama going on. As she looked back and forth between the two girls she could sense it and didn't want to be any part it. She turned up towards the sky.
"I'm gonna head back into the Common Room Williiam" she said loudly unsure if he could hear her or not. "Feel free to join me for some hot cocoa if you get tired."
She then walked off in the opposite direction towards the castle.

"Be there in 5 mins!" He shouted. He looked as Scarlett went in the castle. He flew back up into the air. "I'm coming Katie!" he shouted.

Angel dismissed Will's comment about Rose feeling left out. Angel still thought there was something else bothering her seeing as though the Slytherin girl could walk up to anyone and make a loyal friend so the Gryffindor was sure Scarlett had too many friends to ever feel left out. She waved goodbye at Katie went off the the Ravenclaw common room.

"So, Angel, what do you wanna do?" He asked. He looked at his watch. It was mid day. He picked Tilly up and put her on his broom. He liked sitting on it, Will didn't know why.

Scarlett swallowed hard, turning to face her professor to hear him out. She listened then nodded and walked alongside Professor Blackwell to the exit, until she heard a fade thought fill her mind. More like she realized what she was up against, Scarlett spun around and glared hard at Valerie, "You know what, I did just realized what I'm up against. I'm up against a self-centered Hufflepuff brat, who thinks she's better than everyone just because she doesn't and would never be able to get a Tournament partner even if she tried. A person so absorbed in themselves that they don't even have enough respect to call any of us 'champions' or to even think of us as possible competitions. You can't even see over the fact that what you say to others, reflects on your personality and that no one's going to want to be your friend if you even see that what you say hurts people's feelings," Scarlett stated with a strong voice. She was definitely wasn't a screamer but when she spoke about something so dearly to herself, her voice came out strong.

Angel heard Valerie's comment about the competition but let it breeze past her, until Scarlett turned on her heal and met Valerie's cold gaze. Angel knew her Slytherin friend had hear it too. Ironically, Angel wasn't surprised one bit one Rose finished her rant. Not even a single streak of shock flickered across her heart shaped face. Angel had a hunch that she wasn't the only person to have a rough start with the Hufflepuff, and Rose had just proved it. Glancing at Valerie with a stone hard glare that took years to prefect, Angel waited for Valerie's answer, making sure she was close enough to interfere the fight if needed.

Valerie froze. Then she blinked rapidly, for this was what people did when trying to hold back tears, and her eyes finally widened, because she was staring at Scarlett Rose.

She swallowed.

"Well, I guess I asked for that," she sniffed. "I did say you should tell us how you felt. Thank you, Scarlett."

Professor Blackwell watched Miss Rose turn around and then speak strongly to Miss Naught. However, off in the distance he saw a bird flying in the distance across the horizon. It was a beautiful bird, he would admit, and decided to watch it instead. Admittedly, he was listening to what Scarlett was saying and keeping an ear on the situation. Regardless, 'What a beautiful bird! I wonder if Clarence is still keeping an eye out for another Phoenix sighting... On that notion... I wonder how Clarence is doing in the first place...' he thought to himself, his thoughts trailing off. However, he was happy that Miss Rose finally spoke up about how she was feeling and hoping the Miss Naught would somehow get along with her. Some friendships happen by someone breaking the ice. Or in some case, blowing it up.

William hadn't heard much of the argument as he went high into the clouds. He liked to be alone sometimes, it gave him... thinking space. He didn't hear Scarlett or Valerie much but he did hear some muttering so he came down to investigate. He thought he couldn't be seen from where he was, hiding in a cloud, but Tilly could definitely see him. Without any warning, Tilly got spooked by a bird the professor had seen and Tilly flew up towards William. William was helpless. He held onto his broom but it was no use. He fell off and came toppling down to the ground. He slowly got back up and scratched the back of his head. Blood, he thought. He tapped his head and said "Ferula" quietly. Bandages quickly spun round his head. He then looked up and saw everyone looking at him. Well, what did you expect to happen, he did strangely fall out of a cloud he thought.
